If I am not at work, odds are I’m watching, reading or doing something else related to Manchester United (the greatest football club in the history of mankind). United are a tie that binds around the world. Here are some of the things I do in my spare time.

Manchester United Supporters’ Trust (website)

I am an active member and director of the official Manchester United Supporters’ Trust. With nearly 40,000 members MUST is the UK’s largest supporters’ trust. My work on behalf of the trust spans everything from membership development to public relations to web site programming and marketing collateral.

Red News, Manchester United’s First Fanzine (website)

For several years I have managed the online presence of Red News, Manchester United’s First Fanzine. I rebuilt the site from the ground up, implementing a custom content management system, a vBulletin community forum and a Paypal-connected online shop. The site was recently lauded by the Telegraph as being the #2 Manchester United site on the web, second only to the Club’s official site. It was also short-listed for 2009 Best Online Fanzine award by the Football Fans Census. See the Gallery page for samples of my work.

United We Stand, an Independent Voice of the Champions (website)

I recently began managing the website for United We Stand, another Manchester United fanzine. I manage now two of three fanzine sites. The site also uses a custom-built content management system to deliver exclusive online content and enable subscriptions to the print magazine. See the Gallery page for samples of my work.
